For competitive swimmers, a plain black swimming costume, plain black swimming towel, and white swimming cap are compulsory for Figures competitions. Team kit is available for purchase (see below), all kit is worn at club training and inter-club competitions.

Barracudas has an extensive Costume wardrobe. Costumes and head pieces are available for hire. A Hiring fee of R 150 as well as a refundable deposit of R 100 per costume per competitive season is required.
*NOTE: Multiple manufacturers were used in the make up of garments. Size cannot be guaranteed without a fitting. Alterations made at personal expense to swimmer. Should alterations be done through the club, cash deposit will be forfeited.
